Hello everyone! It's lovely to meet you all!

My name is Jeff but everyone refers to me as Jay.

I'm currently enrolled in college to become a Police Officer (probably not anyone's favorite here) but I feel it's really the job that will suit myself best. I love to be hands on with things, & I love to do things like a PO will do. I love Guns, I love tactical style work, I love working as a team, I plan to go for a Sheriff S.W.A.T officer. This will take about 5-6 years to complete (4 years schooling) & 1 year "probationary" time where I'll have to have another officer in my Patrol Unit with me the whole time while I learn the ropes & get used to the way things work. I'm very excited about this career path though. Although it might not make as much money as some jobs out there, or be as safe as some out there, I just feel as though this is my calling. I've been dancing around becoming an RN (Registered Nurse) for a long time, but the thought of cleaning up crap from people, & changing beddings all day, to just doing the tedious things that Doctor's don't have to do, for the little difference in pay they make, I'd much rather look forward to waking up every day knowing that I can look forward to going to doing what I like/love vs doing something that I'm only in it for the money. Plus, I get to be around the things I love every day, guns, flashlights, tactical gear, as well as being able to drive around in my own Cruiser, being able to do what I want when I want, just sounds like a blast of a job to me. Sure, it might get old after a while, but that's the great thing about being a Police Officer, is there are SO many different career opportunities available to you once you become an officer. You can go S.W.A.T specifically, you can go Patrol only, you can go Sheriff & just sit on the side of the road & wait for speeders all day long. It's just such a different experience, & I'm totally ready for that, and that's what my mind is telling me to do, go for it, do something you'll enjoy every day versus something you're only doing for the slight pay increase but dreading your job every day. So, wish me luck all in my college affairs here coming up soon (2026 Spring) I'll be starting my 4-year career path. I'm very excited to be going back to college actually. I miss it. I miss being around people my age, or younger, or older, and getting to chat & just hangout for a bit during class, plus learning about becoming a law enforcement officer is going to be such a blast for myself. I'm really looking forward to it.

I absolutely LOVE Dogs; I recently lost my Dog in early 2024. I now have a brand-new Puppy, she's currently 8 Months old, & she's the absolute love of my life. She's a Pure-bred American Cocker Spaniel named - Lexi

Otherwise, I'm just your average 34-year-old male. I'm currently single. No kids. And just enjoying the life that I've been given!
