Formed in 1968 by Mr. Ed Heathcote initially to facilitate heavy haulage and coal runs for the now defunct Kidsgrove Colliery coal mine in North Staffordshire, England. The company now approaching its 50th trading year has grown from strength to strength in that time. Starting with a lorry purchased for £30, the company has now become one of the region’s most successful bulk haulage operators. Our fleet comprises of 43 vehicles and storage facilities across the UK and Europe totalling over 300,000 sq. ft.

All vehicles are equipped with state of the art tracking units, so every load collected and delivered is tracked from start to finish. With long standing contracts with major European companies our reputation is renowned throughout the industry.

The Kidsgrove Collieries fleet is fully TASCC assured so every load that is hauled by ourselves is fully traceable, with all previous products carried recorded and documented. Made up of a variety of Heavy Goods vehicles, we are fully equipped for making deliveries of all shapes and sizes that suit your requirements.

All sites have a public weighbridge, as well as serving public weighs, it also enables our staff to provide accurate stocks for their products held in store. And at our sites in Sheffield & Aberystwyth we operate and manage animal feed blending plants with approximate annual tonnages exceeding 60,000 tons per annum.
