Introduction

I hope all are doing well on the roads as we deliver America’s freight during these hard times. ZaTransport has been in creation since 2017. Over the years I’ve finessed my operations and improved on how I want to run this. In the virtual world of trucking with both European and American Truck Simulators, Ive observed the virtual connections these VTC’s implement into the game. I do want to have fun with all of this so don’t get me wrong. But with a majority of VTC’s that I've seen, there isn't anything else to contribute the small, but major factors in transportation. For example, pallet counts are a major factor. These are what show how much per truckload or less than truck load pallets are moving. Stores and businesses rely on the amount of product to thrive and continue providing services. Another feature that gets displayed is order numbers to track movements across the network. With all of this being said, ZaTransport wants to simulate more than just the number of miles we all drive, and number of freight contracts taken. Yes, those are significant and important, but we want to showcase a more in-depth immersion and interaction with others to give an insight of another side to the industry.

Basic steps to help contribute

As more and more users, drivers, virtual trucking companies, roleplaying groups discover the services we offer, there will be more of a variety in freight commodities, customer accounts, etc etc to follow. So, let's get into the nitty gritty mess of all this and see what we do here at ZaTransport!

First step to do is to join our Trucksbooks, as well as our discord channel. Both links can be found on our website’s homepage! Please be patient with the unorganized setup at the moment. Am still trying to find the most convenient, and unique way in interacting with ZaTransport and getting notifications for new members.

Second step, once in Trucksbooks you will notice under dispatch there are freight offers for users to take and help deliver. As time in real life becomes available... along with more members to help and assist with all this, freight offers will be updated. Once a load has been taken, information will be updated on the main excel spreadsheet to reflect quantity changes as notifications are received.

Third step, have fun. ZaTransport is professional on all levels, but in the end, we always look forward to having a good time. All we really do is collect data that comes into the designated warehouse locations, and what goes out of each warehouse location. We virtually log what type of freight that comes into each in game company we’ve selected that would generate a variety amount of different freight. We also use a VIRTUAL SPEDITOR (which can be found at this link https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=199114) to create loads that aren't available in both freight and cargo markets. For example, with this Ive missed offers in the cargo market for pickup by minutes due to AI randomly stopping lol



Less-than-Truckload services

Less-than-Truckload, or for short LTL, is designed for customers who don’t meet the 26 pallets or more Truckload requirement, but still are able to provide business in shipping. With LTL, customers are able to ship 1, 3, 7, 15. With more customers who choose LTL, VTC’s are able to pick up from more than one customer which creates multiple stops. For example, data wise we are able to show a 6-stop delivery with X product. We set it up with a manifest number, order number, as well as a pay package (which is still in the works.). Our pay package currently is $2.50 per mile, both loaded and empty. On top of that we pay $50.00 per stop across the board. Example: From: Bakersfield, CA To: Omaha, NE. Stops in Denver, Ft. Collins, Cheyenne, N. Platte (x2), Final out in Omaha. Trip Miles: 1723. Orders: 6. Pallets: 19. Mileage: $2.50. Stop Pay: $50.00. Total earnings: $4,608.

Instructions to run Less-than-Truckload: LTL

To set up an LTL load for either inbound or outbound, this process is what I do to simulate to reflect in ATS.

Set up to deliver to your first scheduled stop.

Once delivered, set up your next scheduled stop to be picked up at the location you just delivered to. For example, your 1st stop is to a SellGoods in Denver from Bakersfield, and your 2nd stop is to a Walbert in Fort Collins. In Trucksbooks, or ANY Virtual Speditor program, you are going to setup your second delivery to be picked up at the SellGoods you were just at, and then be delivered to the Walbert in Fort Collins. Simple... You just go from the previous delivery to the next lol Data wise everything will show. Yes, there is a factor though with income not matching the in-game freights. But, with ZaTransport we will keep track of the data in our systems. Over time after the dust settles, ZaTransport will have a clean interface for stats and all that stuff lol

With this View Only link, users are able to have an overview of the ZaTransport network and see what is in stock. This document gets updated every time it is online and live during ATS runs. I, Zachary Adams do have mobile access to this file with OneDrive so I am able to update the server conveniently for all users.

Conclusion

In the end, the main intentions of ZaTransport is to be different, but also a fun way to connect others in the future. To help contribute to the simulation, and virtual trucking community in a way that will bring a feeling and immersion with the movement of freight across America!
