About Us – Valmet Plant VTC

Valmet Plant VTC is a long-standing virtual haulage company built on traditional values and a strong sense of heritage. Originally founded in Finland, the company entered a new chapter in 2001 following a change of ownership, with operations moving to Cumbria, which remains our main base to this day.

Though now firmly established in the UK, we have always kept close ties to our Finnish roots, continuing to operate from yards in both Cumbria and Finland. These connections are an important part of who we are and the work we do.

From our Cumbrian base, we cover a wide range of haulage across the UK, while also running regular trips to Scandinavia. Much of our work involves transporting exported plant machinery alongside general haulage, routes that have become a familiar and valued part of our day-to-day operations.

As a company, we pride ourselves on doing things the right way—steady, reliable work, looking after our drivers, and keeping things running smoothly.
