Welcome to DG. Hughes & Sons Haulage & Contractors


Here at DG. Hughes & sons, we are truckers at heart and share our passion of love of the 44 tonners. Whether you are a die-hard trucker, or just simply looking to throw in some extra hours into Euro Truck Simulator 2 whilst still competing towards something, we here at DG. Hughes & Sons have you covered in every way!


At DG. Hughes & Sons, we are not just a Virtual Trucking Company, we are a close-knitted family that are always on the lookout for new, aspiring drivers! We would tremendously love to hear your thoughts and ideas in our company, to further improve our service.


Your first days at DG. Hughes & Sons


Upon being accepted to the company, you will enter what's known as a "trial period". This period will last a MAXIMUM of 1 week and during its time, your activity within the company will be monitored. Please don't let this deter you, though, this is simply to verify that you fully intend on joining our company. If you wish to leave the company within the trial period, that is perfectly okay.

Your Truck


Following on from the trial period, you're obviously going to need two things, a truck, and a trailer. Every driver upon being accepted into the company will be assigned the same truck, a Scania R450 6x2 Midlift, the truck has been specced lower from our bigger rigs, but still packs a punch for our new drivers to settle in! Once you are deemed ready to finish your trial period, a higher-up member of the company will contact you, you will then be brought on as a fully qualified driver! Once you are qualified, you will get to choose your truck from our great selection of state of the art equipment!



Terms & Conditions


• All drivers must be at least +14 years of age.
• Have a Discord account which they frequently use.
• Have a Trucksbook account.
• You must log a minimum of 1000 REAL miles per calendar month. If you fail to meet this requirement 3 months in a row, then you will be removed from the company. If you need to take some time away from the VTC, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the staff team, we do not need reasoning, just a heads up, mental health is more important than video games.
