if someone joins this company then they cannot leave the company in the first 3 months of joining.
If ever an employee wants to leave the company then they must put in a 60 days notice in actual real time..
10 to 15 000km per month for all drivers.. More than that is a bonus(reason for saying in a month is because sometimes people can't drive 10 000km in a week so a month is more appropriate)
If ever the employees get racing records for more than 3 trips then it's a warning for them and a warning expires after every month..
Always make sure your speed doesn't pass 100km/h. Push as much as you can and get the job done.
Speed Limit Compliance
This is to Ensure drivers follow the 90 km/h speed limit to maintain safety, efficiency, and reduce costs. Penalties for speeding will escalate based on repeat violations.
1. Speed Limit Enforcement
- Speed Limit: Drivers must not exceed 90 km/h.
[only up to 95km/h can be tolerated but it is advised by management to rather stick to 90km/h]
- Monitoring: Trucks will have GPS tracking and speed limiters set to 90 km/h to monitor speed.
[the speed will be monitored on each logbook trip that is to be checked weekly by management]
2. Penalties for Speed Violation.
- First Violation:
- Penalty: Driver banned from convoy for 1 week until they recover the same number of kilometers at 90 km/h.
- Warning: A formal warning will be issued after the kilometers are recovered.
- Second Violation:
- Penalty: Driver will be suspended for *2 weeks* from driving in any convoy.
- Warning: A formal notice will explain the seriousness of the infraction.
- Ongoing Violations:
- Further violations may lead to *termination* depending on frequency.
3.Driver Education
-Initial Training: Drivers receive training on the speed limit policy and the importance of compliance.
Refresher Courses: Regular training updates to reinforce safe driving and speed limit awareness.
NB: We will be using academy training for all new drivers.
4. Performance Tracking
Weekly Monitoring: Trucksbook (logbook) will track speed violations and be reviewed by managers.
Incentives: Drivers with no violations for a month receive recognition.
5. Consistency & Fairness
Zero Tolerance: All violations will be penalized fairly and consistently.
Clear Communication: Drivers are fully informed about the speed limit rules and penalties.
This strategy helps ensure safety, efficiency, and fair treatment by strictly enforcing the 90 km/h speed limit. Penalties will escalate for repeat violations, but drivers are also encouraged to improve through training and incentives.
