Welcome to The Ascetic's Devotional Temple!
The Four Noble Truths,
are truths that apply to everyone regardless of ethnicity, race, culture or religion. Whether we admit it or not, whether we like it or not, every human being experiences and is protected by this law of truth. This truth applies universally.
The Four Noble Truths were discovered by The ASCETIC SIDDHARTHA who meditated under the Bodhi Tree until He attained Perfect Enlightenment.
Four Truths:
The truth about the existence of Dukkha.
The Truth About the Causes of Dukkha.
The Truth about the Cessation of Dukkha.
The truth about the eightfold path leading to the end of Dukkha.
*Dukkha.
The various forms of suffering that exist in this world can be summarized into three main parts or categories:
1. Ordinary Suffering (Dukkha-Dukkha), for example flu, stomach ache, toothache, and so on.
2. Suffering due to change (Viparinama-Dukkha), for example separating from loved ones, gathering with hated ones, not achieving what one wants, sadness, crying, despair, and so on.
3. Suffering due to having a physical body (Sankhara-Dukkha), namely suffering because we were born as humans, so we can experience flu, toothache, sadness, disappointment, and so on.
More about Dukkha, explained in Patticasamupada (The law of interrelated causes).
The Noble Eightfold Path is often divided into three parts:
1. Wisdom.
A. Right Understanding.
B. Right Thought.
2. Morality.
A. Right Speech.
B. Right Action.
C. Right Livelihood.
3. Concentration.
A. Right Effort.
B. Right Mindfulness.
C. Right Concentration
Life Simulator and Devotional.
Be kind to yourself,
Be kind to others.
May Everyone Always Be Happy!
Greetings from Ascetic Temple Transport.
