Welcome to Longhorn Logistics


Founded in November 2022 by two truck sim veterans, Longhorn Logistics exists to bring back the fun, enjoyment, and camaraderie that make this hobby great. Our goal: a friendly, low-pressure environment where drivers can relax, haul realistically, and connect without quotas or drama.

We're mainly an American Truck Simulator VTC, with full owner-operator freedom—you pick your truck, routes, loads, and schedule. We also welcome a few ETS2 drivers for variety.

Our community loves relaxed Convoy sessions for chill group drives, but we jump into TruckersMP for fun events like holiday convoys, hauling challenges, or when enough folks are online. Single-player and casual play are always welcome too.
We track realistic miles only (via TrucksBook—no exploits), with fair handling for occasional overspeeding through our warning system. Details in the rules section.

We're proudly non-competitive: no leaderboards or mandatory miles. Push yourself during busy seasons or personal goals if you want—that's encouraged when it fits your life.

Real life comes first. Need time off or reduced activity? Just let management know your estimated timeframe—we handle it discreetly and supportively. Extensions up to 2–3 extra months are usually fine as a one-time courtesy. Repeated uncommunicated absences may lead to roster review to keep things active.

Membership Requirements


- Be at least 18 years old.

- Speak English fluently (required for chats, voice, convoys).

- Join our Discord — mandatory for coordination and events.

- Own ATS and/or ETS2 (DLCs optional but encouraged).

- Install/connect TrucksBook client within 7 days (required for logging and participation).

- World of Trucks: Optional but helpful.

- TruckersMP: Optional/recommended for TMP events.

- Modest monthly mileage minimum (handbook details) to keep active—flexible with communication.

Longhorn Logistics is built on respect, realism, and enjoyment. We ask all members to uphold these simple standards to keep our community welcoming, fun, and true to virtual trucking.


( No VTC Hopping )

We value commitment—applicants with more than 3 company switches in the last month will not be accepted.


( New Member Trial Period )

New drivers complete a short, flexible trial to ensure a great fit. You will need to log ~2,000–3,000 real miles (or typically 6–10 realistic jobs/loads) while following the rules. Finish successfully, and you will unlock full perks like the CDL Discord role, events, and convoys.


( Realistic Driving And Speed Limits )

We track real miles only—no shortcuts, exploits, or boosts. Use the TrucksBook client for accurate logging.

- ATS: Stay under 79 mph (≈127 km/h) at all times; recommend 78–79 mph max for safety and realism.

- ETS2: Stay under 100 km/h (≈62 mph).

( Consistent violations trigger our fair progressive system (warnings → restrictions → possible removal ).


( Respect And Courtesy )

Treat all drivers (inside and outside Longhorn) with kindness—no harassment, toxicity, racism, trolling, or disrespect in Discord, in-game, voice, or anywhere else. We foster a mature, friendly space where everyone feels welcome.


( Zero Tolerance for Reckless Driving )

No reckless behavior: intentional collisions/ramming, tailgating, dangerous overtakes/blocking, ignoring traffic rules/lights in multiplayer, or anything that endangers others or disrupts events/convoys. First offenses can mean immediate temp bans from activities; serious or repeated cases lead to removal.


( TrucksBook Client And Activity )

Install and connect the TrucksBook client within 7 days of joining (or after accepting your position)—its required for logging jobs, tracking stats, events, convoys and leaderboards. Staff can help if needed. If not connected (even after reminders), you will be moved to inactive/probation or removed. Repeated ignoring of messages (after 2+ polite reminders) results in a no-appeal kick/ban. We are a TrucksBook-based VTC: no client logging = not fully part of the team.
