Welcome to Longhorn Logistics


Founded in November 2022 by two veterans of the truck simulation community, Longhorn Logistics was created with a clear mission: to restore the core values of fun, enjoyment, and camaraderie to the game. Our owners are committed to fostering a friendly, supportive environment where drivers can thrive without unnecessary pressure.


We operate primarily as an American Truck Simulator Virtual Trucking Company (VTC), though we proudly welcome a select group of drivers who also enjoy routes in Euro Truck Simulator 2.

While we appreciate all aspects of American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2, including single-player mode, Convoy, and TruckersMP (TMP), our community has gravitated toward Convoy sessions in recent times due to their relaxed pace and flexibility. That said, we actively participate in TMP during special events such as hauling challenges, holiday convoys, or community-wide celebrations, especially when enough Longhorn Logistics drivers are available to join together.


We prioritize realistic mileage tracking within the company, reflecting actual distances driven in-game. We recognize that overspeeding can occasionally occur due to various factors, which is why we've implemented a clear warning system to address it fairly and constructively. For full details, please refer to our rules section.


Longhorn Logistics is proudly non-competitive, focusing on enjoyment and camaraderie rather than leaderboards or mandatory quotas. That doesn't mean we shy away from pushing ourselves—some drivers enjoy going the extra mile during peak seasons or personal challenges, and that's always encouraged when it fits your schedule and playstyle.


Real life can bring unexpected challenges, and we fully understand and respect that. If personal circumstances require time away, simply provide management with an estimated timeframe for your leave of absence or reduced activity. We'll handle it discreetly and supportively. Should more time be needed beyond your initial estimate, reach out—we're happy to grant extensions of up to 2–3 additional months as a one-time courtesy. Repeated or uncommunicated extensions may lead to a review and potential removal from the roster to keep the company active and engaged.

Membership Requirements



* Be at least 18 years old.

* Speak English fluently (required for clear communication in chats, voice, and convoys).

* Join our Discord server — this is mandatory for all members (its how we coordinate convoys, events, and daily communication).

* Own American Truck Simulator (ATS) and/or Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2) — DLCs are optional but encouraged for more variety.

* Install and use the TrucksBook client — this is required for accurate mileage tracking and logging (we prioritize real miles only).

* Have a World of Trucks account — optional, but helpful for sharing jobs and participating in official SCS events.

* Have a TruckersMP account — optional, but recommended if you plan to join TMP events or convoys with us.




Core Rules And Expectations



Longhorn Logistics is built on respect, realism, and enjoyment. All members are expected to uphold these standards at all times:


No VTC hopping allowed. Applicants who have switched companies more than 3 times in the last month will not be accepted.



Trial Period For New Members.

New hires start with a trial period to ensure a good fit for the community. During this time, your going to have to complete a set number of realistic jobs (typically 6–10 loads or a minimum mileage threshold) while following all rules. Successful completion grants full membership privileges, such as the CDL role in Discord and access to company events/convoys.



Realistic Mileage And Speed Limits.

We track and enforce real mileage only (no shortcuts, speed exploits, or unrealistic boosts). Use the TrucksBook client for accurate logging.

American Truck Simulator (ATS): Maximum speed under 80 mph (≈129 km/h). We recommend staying at or below 78–79 mph for safety and realism.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2): Maximum speed 100 km/h (≈62 mph).


Violations (e.g., consistent overspeeding) trigger our progressive warning system: verbal warning → written warning → restrictions → potential removal.




Respect And Courtesy.

Treat every driver—inside and outside the company—with respect and courtesy. No harassment, toxic behavior, racism, trolling, or disrespectful language in any channel (Discord, in-game chat, voice, etc.). We foster a mature, friendly environment where everyone feels welcome.




Zero Tolerance for Reckless Driving.

Reckless or dangerous behavior is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated. This includes:

Intentional collisions or ramming

Tailgating, dangerous overtaking, or blocking

Ignoring traffic rules/lights in multiplayer

Any actions that endanger others or disrupt convoys/events

First offenses may result in immediate temporary bans from company activities; repeated or severe incidents lead to removal from the VTC.




Longhorn Logistics reserves the right to modify these rules, requirements, trial period provisions, or any other policies at its sole discretion and without prior notice. Such changes will be posted in relevant community channels (e.g., Discord) as soon as practicable.
