1) What makes us strong is our commitment to respect of our varied backgrounds, experiences, and upbringings. We DO NOT tolerate bigotry of any kind, including sexism, racism, queerphobia, transphobia, anti-Semitism, ableism, etc.

2) Gender non conforming and transgender people are valued members of our community, who's existence is not up for debate. Attempting to assign some litmus over who is or is not trans will get you an instant kick.

3) We are, first and foremost, a community. While we encourage people to take the time to learn about each other, we ask that members do not message each other without first getting permission from the other person. Stalking, and or messaging people without permission is not allowed in the discord server.

4) Our existence is one which is inherently political. We understand that discussions surrounding our experiences cannot be separated from the political, but would ask that all members try to limit political discussions to a minimum. Please avoid discussions of politically sensitive or charged topics.

5) Please read https://discord.com/terms and https://trucksbook.eu/terms-of-use
The terms of service (TOS) of both Discord, as well as TrucksBook have to be followed. Please note that this means that discussions of illicit things, such as software piracy, drug use, and similar is forbidden. We have to enforce this as a means of protecting the larger community from potential legal backlash and / or having it getting shut down.

6) To best serve the community, the rules are to be seen as guiding principles and are rather fluid - subject to change - as necessary. As we welcome new people and grow the community, situations are bound to come up where individual actions will need us to re-evaluate our rules and policies. This can take the form of creating, removing, or editing rules or policies. When such things are done, all members will be informed of the changes as soon as possible. Such decisions will be done as democratically as possible.
